Rhinebeck

A Sunday market in the village lot, a bakery that has been on East Market since 2000, and a white church that has kept the corner since the 1700s. The concert hall is a short drive, in Annandale.

    The farmers' market is in the municipal lot, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, through December 27. Leave the dog at home unless it is a service dog.

    Rhinebeck Reformed Church is the white building at 6368 Mill Street. Sunday worship is at 10:00 am. The building on that corner was finished in 1808.

  4. 04 · Afternoon

    Drive to the Fisher Center in Annandale for whatever is on that day's calendar. This weekend they list a play, October 23–25, and the conservatory orchestra, October 24–25. Read the ticket page before you go. We did not copy a price.

    Bread Alone

    The bakery cafe on East Market, open early enough to beat the village.

    45 East Market Street. Their Rhinebeck page prints fall cafe hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm every day, with breakfast, lunch, and the bread from their Boiceville bakery. They have been in Rhinebeck since 2000. The bakery's FAQ says the cafes close Thanksgiving and Christmas, and close at 4:00 pm on Christmas Eve, Easter, and New Year's Eve.

    Rhinebeck Farmers' Market

    Sunday morning in the village lot, from May into the week after Christmas.

    Open Sundays, May 3 through December 27, 2026, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, rain or shine, in the municipal parking lot. Residents started it in 1994. Pets are not allowed, except service dogs. The market accepts SNAP and matches it.

    Rhinebeck Reformed Church

    The white church at Route 9 and South Street, and a quieter Sunday than the village sidewalk.

    Founded in 1731. The present building was finished in 1808. The south and west walls are brick; the north and east are fieldstone, because some members could not buy brick and brought stones instead. Worship is every Sunday at 10:00 am, with fellowship at 11:00 am. 6368 Mill Street. Office hours Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. (845) 876-3727.

    Fisher Center at Bard

    The hall is in Annandale, not on East Market, and this weekend is already on the calendar.

    The Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson. Their homepage, checked October 20, lists Rossum's Universal Robots for October 23–25 and the Bard Conservatory Orchestra for October 24–25. Phone 845-758-7900. We did not see a ticket price on that homepage, so we are not printing one.
